Duplex Steel UNS NO S 31803 Pipes and Tubes (also referred as WNR 1.4462 Pipes and Tubes) have a microstructure that contains both ferrite and austenite. When these UNS S31803 Pipes and Tubes are melted, it solidifies from the liquid phase to a completely ferritic structure. As the material cools, approximately half of it changes to an austenitic structure.
